Myra (Bishop) Taylor, age 84, of Marion, passed away at 6:48 PM, Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Herrin Hospital.
Myra was born on May 10, 1935 in Issaquena County, Mississippi to the late Anna Lee (Jones) Bishop.
She married Joseph Taylor on July 18, 1966 and he preceded her in death. Myra was a registered nurse; a member of the Church of Christ of Marion, and the Red Hat Society. Myra was a very feisty lady and she loved to travel, cook and play cards.
Myra is survived by one son, three grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Myra was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; mother Anna, and siblings, Frank, Edgar, Robert and Marjorie.
Myra will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
