Sadie Louise (Gilman) Suitor Savage.

Daughter of James Charles Gilman and Rachel (Moore) Gilman Ward.
Graduate of the Sherbrooke, Quebec Hospital School of Nursing.
Married Henry A. Suitor in 1907 and moved to Deerfield in 1910 where her husband was a physician.
Henry Suitor died in 1923 and she married Robert L. Savage in Deerfield in 1927.
She joined the staff of Deerfield Academy and was head nurse of the infirmary for 28 yrs retiring in 1953.

Survived by her husband; a brother George H. Gilman of Belmont; 2 sons, John H. Suitor of Deerfield and Dr. Douglas G. Suitor of Springfield.

According to her mother, Rachel's obituary she had married James Gilman in 1880 in Richmond Quebec and he died in 1890. Then in 1893 she married Thomas Ward in Richmond who lived many years. In 1915 she came to the U.S. to live with her daughter Sadie and died in 1951 in Deerfield, MA.
It also reads that Rachel was born Sept 2 1855 in Kingsley, Quebec to James and Ann (Eagle) Moore of Norfolk, England.
