Miss Chichester Rites Set Today
Funeral services will be held today at 11 a. m. at Old Falls Church, Falls Church, Va., for Miss E. May Chichester, 84, who died Tuesday at the home of her sister, Mrs. James M. Mason, Lee Highway, Fairfax County. Interment will be at Old Falls Church.
The daughter of one of the oldest families in Fairfax County, Miss Chichester spent her life on the family estate, Mantua, which has been in the Chichester family since early in the eighteenth century. Her father, Maj. Chichester, served in the Confederate Army during the War Between the States, and was treasurer of Fairfax County for many years.
Miss Chichester is survived by two other sisters, in addition to Mrs. Mason. They are Mrs. John Davidson of Washington, and Mrs. Sally Loving of McLean, Va.
