JUDITH CLARICE CHANDLER MAY (63). It is with painful and heavy hearts that the May family must announce the passing of wife and mother, Judith Clarice Chandler May. Mrs. May died at her home on Friday afternoon, October 3, 2008, after a battling a fast-growing and devastating lung cancer. She resided in Moscow, TN for the past 20 years. Mrs. Judy May was born to Velma and Howard Chandler on August 20, 1945 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis and was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1963, in Memphis, as well as top of her class at Moller's School of Cosmetology. Judy has been the devoted, adored wife of Johney Lee May since April 19, 1965. She had a delightful spirit and was able to brighten up any room she entered. A giving person by nature, she was always doing something to help someone whether it be a family member, friend or her beloved husband. Mrs. May leaves the love of her life, husband, Johney; daughters, Joni Powers and Jessika Walsh. As well as grandchildren, Daniel Powers, Dalton Powers, McKenzie Walsh and Johnathan Walsh. Judy also precedes sisters, Beverly Rhodes of Byhalia, MS, Debbie Chandler of Birmingham, AL, and brother, Jeff Chandler of Memphis. She will be deeply missed by her many clients whom she befriended while helping make them even more beautiful over the years.

Viewing/visitation will be held at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St., Olive Branch, MS, Sunday, October 5, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. Memorial services will be held at the same location on Monday, October 6, at 2 p.m. Brantley Funeral Home Olive Branch 662-895-2310
