Arline J. Duffy, of the Valley, entered into peace on Saturday, June 23, at Community General Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who was very proud of her family. Born in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Jane Delahanty Lensing. She graduated from St. Anthony of Padua High School and attended Powellson Business Institute. Arline retired from R.E. Dietz Company in 1985. She was an active participant in the Kiwanis Club. Arline was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Duffy, in 1983. Surviving are her son, Charles B. Duffy of Massena; her daughter, Mary M. Duffy of Syracuse; sister-in-law, Teresa Duffy Hartnett of Syracuse; five grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews who were all very important to her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse. An 8:30 a.m. service at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse , will precede the Mass. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, 2315 South Ave., Syracuse.
