Mr. William "Bill" Moore Coffey, age 77, of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Henry County Medical Center. His funeral service will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro, IL with Father Robert Flannery of the Church of St. Francis Xavier in Carbondale, IL officiating. Burial will follow at Parrish Cemetery in Vergennes, IL. McEvoy will be handling local arrangements working with Crawshaw Funeral Home of Murphysboro, Illinois where Mr. Coffey's funeral will be held.



Bill Coffey was born on December 19, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late William Guignon Coffey and the late Mary Jane Moore Coffey and grew up in the Kirkwood, Missouri area. He married Myrna A. Shewmaker Coffey on August 7,1986 and she survives in Paris, Tennessee. Mr. Coffey is also survived by his sons, William (Paula) Lewis of Webster, Texas, Christopher (Terry) Lewis of Centennial, Colorado, and Craig (Marty) Coffey of Colorado Springs; step-son, Brian (Michell) White of Topeka, Kansas; sister, Ellen Hungerford of Prairie Village, Kansas; step-sister, Shelia Sabbag of Santa Rosa, California; sister-in-law, Ladonna (Jack) Etherton of Metropolis, IL; brother-in-law, David (Carolyn) Shewmaker of Murphysboro, IL; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.



Bill was a Catholic by faith. He enjoyed gardening and travel.
