It was her wishes that her remains be used for research for the cure for Epilepsy and M.S. at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Farnhamville. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Monday at the church.
Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Private burial will be held later at Reading Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years Gary of Farnhamville; daughters, Denise (Ryan) Moore of Gowrie; Darci (Jeff) Nemmers of Fort Dodge; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Pamela (Dick) Goodrich of Pleasant Hill and Paula (George) Henry of Salem, VA; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Donita (Dillion) Bowers; granddaughter, Catherine Grace Nemmers.
Sheila K. Bowers was born on July 23, 1950 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge.
On October 10, 1969 she was united in marriage to Gary Hall and the couple established their home in Farnhamville.
For 17 years, Sheila worked at Trinity Regional Medical Center as a Psych Tech. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
