Rebecca Reed, 78, of Marengo, passed away on June 26, 2019. She was born on March 12, 1941 to the late John and Lillian (Robison) Haffner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years David Reed; brother Mike Haffner; daughter-in-law's, Tammy Reed and Leah Bussell.

Rebecca grew up in Nelsonville Ohio where she went to Nelsonville York High School. Upon graduating high school Rebecca attended Columbus Business College. Following college, Rebecca went on to work at Harts Department Store as a sales clerk and worked there until retirement. Upon retiring, Rebecca took great pride in caring for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing crossword puzzles and doing word searches.

Rebecca will be greatly missed by her Children, Erin (Mike) Lott, and Mark and John (Stacy) Reed; grandchildren, Meranda (Ben) Reed, Brandon and Tayler Reed, and Christopher Lott; Great-grandson, Theo Reed; and close family friend, Robin Reed.

A Memorial Service celebrating Rebecca's life will be held at 12pm on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street. Her family will receive friends from 10am until the time of the service.

Please do not send flowers. Instead, donations are encouraged to be made to the American Lung Association.
