Myra Mangus Adams passed away Thursday, October 12, 2000 at her home in Mtn. Ranch, CA.
Myra was born on February 17, 1925 in Logan, West Virginia, the daughter of Rose Thompson and Walter L. Mangus. She was a long time California resident and moved to Mtn. Ranch 10 years ago and was active in San Andreas, AARP. Previously, she was active in the Cancer Society and Muscular Dystrophy on the island of Guam USA. She worked for Bank of America and was later secretary to the first congressman of Guam USA. She owned and operated an antique shop for 15 years. For the last 10 years she has been a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Cliff Adams, Mtn. Ranch, CA; and sons: Terry Fowler, Sunnyvale, CA; and Alan Fowler, Mtn. Ranch, CA. Myra was the eleventh of thirteen children. She is also survived by sisters: Dale Wells, Logan, Ut; and Mildred Despain, Kennewick, WA; brothers: Harry (Jesse) Mangus, Salt Lake City, UT; Glen Mangus, Cody, WY; and Bennie (Nola) Mangus, Bountiful, UT. She is also survived by 29 loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 16, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call Monday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment- Bountiful City Cemetery.
