Children shown in 1860 census children are: Augustus Bondus Rusche (8) , Amelia Bernadine Rusche (Clark) (10), Henry Rusche (6) John W. Rusche (1). Later had George and Lillian. Also, listed on 1860 census Henry Rusche, age 21.
He became a citizen in 1854, and later served in the C.S.A. Co. B. 3rd Brigade Texas State Troops. He died January 22, 1901 in Nacogdoches, Texas. He is buried in the Old Catholic Cemetery (separate section of Oak Grove Cemetery).
