CECELIA JUNE BAKER
June 05, 1947 ~ June 27, 2019
Cecelia June (Lewis) Baker was born June 5, 1947 in Fort Towson, Oklahoma, and grew up in the Atoka area.
She was preceded in death by her father, Simon Lewis and her mother Ora Mae (Wright) Tims.
Cecelia was also preceded in death by her son, Travis Moore; daughter, Monette Baker; sister, Martha Jean Hudson and brother, Forest Tims.
Cecelia married Houston Baker Jr. and they moved to the Oklahoma City area where they raised their family. She spent the last two years of her life in the Hugo area.
Cecelia was a member of the Choctaw Nation and loved speaking in her native language. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God Indian Mission where she enjoyed singing Choctaw hymns.
She was crazy about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were her life.
Survivors include: her husband; sons, Jeremy Kemp and wife Stacey of Lawton, Oklahoma; daughters, Victoria Gonzalez of Stigler, Oklahoma, Tamara Gonzalez and husband Jose of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma;
Sisters, Carol Nadine Kemp, Lota Wanna Moore both of Oklahoma City and Lila Annette of Kemp, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
