Services for Martha Ann Thomas Montgomery will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 3:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.
Mrs. Montgomery, age 65, died on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Bolivar County Medical Center in Cleveland, MS.
Mrs. Montgomery was born on November 17, 1953 in Greenwood, MS, to the late Eugene and Floy Vance Thomas and resided in Carrollton all of her life. She retired from Greenwood Urology Clinic as a nurse after 28 years. She was a member of Malmaison Baptist Church. She loved to vacation in the mountains and enjoyed creeks and scenery while there. Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Montgomery, and a brother, Edward Napoleon Thomas.
She is survived by her three sons, Scott (Debbie) Montgomery of Carrollton, MS, Patrick (Beth) Montgomery of Carrollton, MS, and Lee Montgomery of Greenwood, MS; sister, Frances (Tom) Flowers of Carrollton, MS; aunt, Cora McEachern of Carrollton, MS; 9 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev Bernard Wiggins and Rev. Scottie Montgomery will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Max Montgomery, Stefan Montgomery, Will Smith, Andrew Montgomery, Austin Montgomery, and Noah Montgomery. Honorary Pallbearer will be Scottie Montgomery. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
