Jim was raised in Rawlins, Wyoming. In 1942, he joined the Army and served in WWII as a driver in reconnaissance missions then later a Mortar Gunner in the European Theater. In 1958, he met Martha and they were married on June 26, 1958. Jim went to work for Weyerhaeuser Pulp and Paper Mill, first in Kelso, Washington then transferred to Valiant, Oklahoma moving his family to Idabel, Oklahoma. After his retirement he moved to Maumelle, Arkansas.
Survivors: children, Pamela (Dave), James, Mark, Paula (Mark); grandchildren, Sarah, John (Megan), Chase and Tara; and two great-grandchildren.
Our father and grandfather will always be in our hearts and memories. We will see him again.
