She was born on December 12, 1932 in Montgomery, Alabama. She was the daughter of John Timothy Kimbell Sr. (1889-1964) and Irma Mae Milam Kimbell (1888-1963)
Attended Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama.
She resided in Birmingham, Alabama.
She retired from “Jackie’s Kids” (consignment shop) in Center Point, Alabama. She was a member of Moody First Baptist Church in Moody, Alabama.
She is survived by her children; Jurrell Cook Kruse (Jeff), Jennifer I. Cook, and Harrell “Dink” Cook, Jr; her grandchildren; Brandon Burke Kruse (Jerrikka), Ryan Jeffery Kruse (Jennie), Courtney Myrick, Kalyn Cook Dunnavant (Kevin), Cassie Cook, Matthew Lee Purdy (Kayla), and Karlee Frazier; her great grandchildren; Asher Ryan Kruse, Kimbell Rogers Kruse, Jack Tipton, Jagger Cook, Josiah-kai Ramirez, Emma Cook, Kane Zeller, Nevaeh Faith Purdy, and Matthew Lee Purdy, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrell Cook (1927-1993).
