Funeral was held Sunday afternoon in Marlow for William Barnett Johnson, 78-year-old retired farmer who died last Thursday after a short illness. Johnson had lived in Marlow or that area since 1893. He was born Jan. 30, 1877, in Dallas County, Texas.
Survivors include the widow, Gertha Tuggle Johnson; four sons, Marvin of Chickasha, Elvin of Enid, Harold of Fort Worth and Cecil of Wichita Falls; six daughters, Mrs. E. M. McGee, Mrs. Roy McGehee, and Mrs. Troy Hines, all of Marlow; Mrs. William Ball of Lyford, Texas; Mrs. Russell Sheehan of Dracut, Mass., and Mrs. Joe Herrera of El Paso, Texas; two sister, Mrs. George Orr of Marlow and Mrs. D. E. Luttrell of Ninnekah.
