Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Windell Taylor, chaplain at the Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care System, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mrs. Sims was born in Honey Grove. She moved from Kingsland, Ga., to Macon in 1997. She managed HLC Hotels in Macon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Sims.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Smith-Lapinski of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Kevin Sims of Amarillo; a sister, Elba Boggs of Jacksonville; a brother, Elwyn Perdue of Arkansas; and four grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Today at the funeral home. The family will be at 4106 Crockett St.
