Vivian Louise King, 96, of Dixon, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at her Heritage Square in Dixon.
She worked for Raynor Manufacturing, for 18 years prior to her retirement.
Vivian was born, October 20, 1922, in West Frankfort, IL, the daughter of Dale and Lona (Clark) Peck. She married Lloyd Thomas King on June 20, 1940, in Sikeston, MO. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1985. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Dixon.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Nancy) King; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four great- great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Lois Peck.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Steve Peck, George Peck and one sister, Elizabeth Gipson.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Northside Baptist Church in Dixon, IL, with the Rev. Daniel Bentz, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon. A luncheon will be served at the church following the services.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Heritage Square in Dixon.
