Actor. He was best known to film viewers as Al Capone's top henchman 'Frank Nitti' in the 1987 classic "The Untouchables." Born William Eugene Burrows Jr., he started out as a journalist for the Associated Press and later hosted a highly-rated radio show in Kansas. He got into acting later, joining a touring group that first took him to Canada, and then to New York City. He made his acting debut on the 1979 television movie "No Other Love." He later appeared in such television series as "The Chisholms," "Hardcastle and McCormick," "Hunter," "T.J. Hooker," "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.," and "Charmed." In 1980, he made his "big screen" debut in the film "Windwalker." Besides "The Untouchables," he also appeared in such productions as "Pale Rider" (1985), "True Blood" (1989), "Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection" (1990), and "The Hills Have Eyes" (2006).
