Rachel Shackelford, 80, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Southwest Church of Christ with Glen Walton officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mrs. Shackelford was born in Texola, Okla. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ and was past president of the Amarillo Dental Auxiliary. She was a Red Cross volunteer.
She married Foy Shackelford in 1935. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nyla Stewart, in 1996.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jerry Shackelford of Austin and Lynn Shackelford of Dallas; a sister, Georgia Shackelford of Georgetown; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 until 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
