Janet Ann Stacy, age 78, of Galena, Ohio, passed away at St. Ann’s Hospital on Monday, June 24th, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 2nd, 1941, to the late Ircel and Juanita (Melson) Knedler.

Janet was a 1959 graduate of Fairfield High School. She married the love of her life on May 22, 1965.

Janet worked in the Office of Planned Giving for The Ohio State University for over 20 years, from which she retired.

Janet grew up on a farm in Fayette County, and was known as a kind, loving, and caring person. She was a member of the 4-H and showed cattle at both the county fair and the state fair.

Janet enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and was very active in the Sweet Adelines and the performing chorus unit of the Columbus area Thea Court, Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America.

She is survived by her husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren, special nieces, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
