Paula J. Hall, age 75, of Orrville, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2019, at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, following a period of declining health.

Paula was born on June 14, 1944, in Wheeling, West Virginia, to the late Oscar and Pauline (Hubbs) Gilbert and graduated from Canton South High School in 1962. She is survived by her loving husband, Jennings Hall, who she married on December 31, 1974, in Canton.

She worked as a manager for several Kentucky Fried Chicken franchises as well as various other jobs for over 25 years.

Paula was a member of Canton Baptist Temple. She enjoyed decorating and re-arranging the house with Jennings help. She loved to read, especially self-help books, and visit with friends at McDonalds. Her greatest joy was caring for her family as a mom and mawmaw and she held her family together with her strength.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Jennings, are two daughters, Valerie (Jim) Bell of Vandalia, and Tiffany Hungerford of Rittman; two grandsons, Bryan (Jessica) Hedrick of Destin, FL, and Joshua (Ashli) Bell of Vandalia; seven great grandchildren, Josiah, Judah, Charlotte, Benaiah, Makayla, Chase, and Lauren; five siblings, Ralph Gilbert of Stongsville, James (Inger) Gilbert of Wilmington, NC, Tensie (Russ) Pyne of Virginia Beach, VA, Norman (Diane) Gilbert of Massillon, and Alice Gilbert of Alamo, TX; numerous beloved nieces & nephews; nieces and nephews, including Ruby (Paul) White of North Canton.
