She was the daughter of the late Jesse Allen Sims and Mattie Mozelle King.
She was a member of Pleasant Ridge A.M.E. Zion Church and loved God and her family.
Pauline retired from Burlington Industries in Cramerton, North Carolina as a Spinner.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Ward, Sr.; son, Benjamin Ward, Jr. and her sister, Marjorie Isom.
Pauline leaves to cherish her memories one sister, Charlotte T. Cash (Alfonso) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Traci D. Ward of Dallas, N.C. and Tamra W. Welcome (Antwoine) of Zebulon, N.C.; three great grandchildren, Jordan B. Ward, Darius A. Welcome and Rian S. Welcome; one great great granddaughter, Zariah S. Lowery; caregiver and loving friend, Pat Ward-Coleman (Michael); sisters-in-law, Gracie B.
