OBITUARY: June Marjorie Sullivan, June 23, 1939 ~ June 23, 2019 - reprinted from the Mahn Family Funeral Home website

June Marjorie Sullivan, of Bay City, Wisconsin, died Sunday, June 23, 2019, on the morning of her 80th birthday.

She was born on June 23, 1939, in Hazen, North Dakota, to Albert and Othelia (Machau) Fandrich and grew up and attended school there. On July 27, 1959, she was united in marriage to Jerry J. Sullivan in Bismarck, ND and they lived in Hazen where they started their family. In 1966, they moved to Pierce County, Wisconsin and have lived in the area ever since. June worked for a number of years as a banquet waitress at the St. James Hotel and also worked for the local Red Cross. She loved gardening and canning and when it came to her grandchildren, she enjoyed every minute with them, especially playing video games and doing puzzles with them. Her family will remember her as a patient, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; 6 sons, James (Debbie) of Red Wing, Jeffrey of Bay City, Jerry Jr. (Diana) of Garden City, GA, John (Carrissa) of Bay City, Jesse of Pooler, GA and Patrick of Bay City; 1 daughter, Jackie (Randy) Alms of Red Wing; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 6 siblings, Ruth Metler, Louella Wolf, Esther Middlestead, Teddy, Douglas and James Fandrich.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, Kevin and Keith and a granddaughter, Ashley.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June, 27 2019 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

June donated her body to the University of MN Bequest.
