Apparently Edgar is buried separately from his wife. FOR LOVE & LIBERTY, The Untold Civil War Story of Major Sullivan Ballou & his Famous Love Letter, by Robin Young, 2006, p. 778 (Sullivan was Edgar's father) states that "Edgar was buried in an oasis of calm and green, the cemetery adjoining the grounds of the Episcopal Church of Our Savior..." He died in 1924 at the age of 68, from "acute intestinal trouble."
The cemetery is listed in Findagrave as: Church of Our Saviour; San Gabriel, Los Angeles County, California, USA but there are only 5 interments listed there so far, and Edgar's is not listed.
Also, p. 102 of this same text lists Edgar's date of birth as Aug. 21, 1856.
When you get a chance, please update his memorial to reflect this information about the cemetery & birthdate.
