Raymond Luther ‘Ray’ Bryant, Jr., age 68, Joplin, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Mercy Hospital.
Ray was born January 10, 1951 in Webb City, MO to the late Raymond Luther Bryant and Monoclar Kimerer Bryant and lived in Joplin all of his life.
Ray retired after twenty-two years at F.A.G. Bearing as a machinist. In his spare time Ray, loved to run and mow his yard. He watched every cardinal baseball game that he could and enjoyed the company of his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He married Kathleen Chester on November 6, 1987 in Joplin. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include a son, Shad Bryant; a daughter, Traavissa Mason and husband, Dennie; brother, Mikel Bryant; grandchildren, Klaire Bryant, Allyson Bryant, Devon Charlton, Karlin Bryant, Mikel Bryant, Mathieu Currier, Gypsy Merris, Dennie Mason, Samantha Mason; and twelve great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
