Wyble Louise Lester, 74, died Tuesday at Walnut Grove Living Center. A memorial service will be handled at a later date at Oakhill cemetery under the direction of Chaney's Funeral Home. She was born February 6, 1918 in Arkansas. She married Rev. McCurtain Lester in December, 1956 in Dallas, Texas. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church of McAlester. Survivors include her son, Dale L. Lester of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Majel McWaters of Del City; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. McCurtain Lester; her parents, Ed and Mary Viola Cobb Baker; and two brothers.
