Trevor was the 2nd youngest son born to David (1799-1869) and Annie Williams (1820-1904) of Castell Deudraeth. His parents married on the 25th of September, 1841 at St George's in Bloomsbury. Their union was a fruitful one bearing the following children

Career-wise, Trevor became a co-founder of the British Gramophone Company and later "His Master's Voice" aka HMV. He was also the president of the British Friesian Cattle Society and was instrumental in introducing the breed to England from Holland in 1914.
