Steven John Duke, 59 of Troutdale OR, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017. He was born on November 25, 1957 in Portland, Oregon and graduated from Reynolds High School in 1976 and served in the Air National Guard Reserve. Steve married Leianne Marie Guse on June 22, 1979 in Portland, Oregon. Steve worked as an aircraft mechanic for over 33 years – first with Western Skyways, then Boeing and finally with Flightcraft. He was a longtime member of The Chapel in Troutdale, Oregon and enjoyed working on cars and model airplanes.
Steve is survived by his wife Leianne Duke of Troutdale OR; sons Adam Duke and Kris Duke both of Troutdale OR; sister Terry Elkins (Mickey), niece Sandra Elkins and nephew Kevin Elkins all of Cornelius OR and other uncles and cousins.
A viewing will take place from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd in Gresham, Oregon. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland, Oregon.
