Susan Boggs King, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of 43 years to Perry Henry King who survives.
Susan was employed for many years at Carolina BBQ. She was a member of Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church where she served as a nursery worker. Susan loved people and was devoted to her husband children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Perry H. King of the home; daughter, Angie Loy and husband, Mike of Swepsonville; sons, William Boggs and wife, Christy of Raleigh and Chris King and his girlfriend, Miranda of Burlington; grandchildren, Kayla Boggs, Caleb Boggs, Breanna Boggs, Logan King, Harper King, Isabelle Lynn A Lord, Drake Lord and Brock Lord and a great grandson, Colton William Boggs brothers, Goley Boggs and girlfriend, Carmen Barbour of Knightdale, Sammy Boggs and wife, Carolyn of Graham and Mike Boggs of Knightdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.D. and Penny Cheek Boggs and brothers, Dennis and Douglas Boggs and a granddaughter, Amanda Cook.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 11AM at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Don Pegg. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30am prior to the graveside service and other times at the home.
