POOLE SERVICE SET WEDNESDAY

Terry Alan "Bo" Poole, 49, Broken Bow, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2004.

He was born Jan. 3, 1955, the son of June and Ledger Poole, Broken Bow.

Bo was a member of the First Baptist Church, Broken Bow. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed teaching young people to fish and hunt.

Bo was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He loved watching sports, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, but most especially with his beloved and faithful dog, "DOG". His dog passed away with him on May 22.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Birdie and Homer Edmondson, and John and Annie Poole.

Bo is survived by his parents, June and Ledger Poole; his son, Jeremy Poole, and wife, Lisa, Broken Bow; his sisters, Shonda Hendon and husband Glen, Broken Bow, and Vicky Farley and husband Randy, Golden; his brother, Kelly Poole, Broken Bow; his grandson, Justin Poole, and his step granddaughter, Haley McKeever, both of Broken Bow; two nieces, Chelsea and Courtney Hendon, Broken Bow; four nephews, Clark Robbins and Chase Claussen, both of Broken Bow, Aaron Laster and wife, Amy, Eagletown, and Dusty Laster; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at Brumley Chapel, Broken Bow, with Bro. Clark Wrather officiating. Burial will follow in Broken Bow Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, May 25, at Brumley Funeral Home, Broken Bow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Broken Bow First Baptist Church building fund.

IN LESS THAN A WEEK, TWO ARE KILLED NEAR SAME SPOT ON S.H. 3

Terry Alan (Bo) Poole, 49, Broken Bow, died of massive injuries in a head-on collision at 6:45 p.m. Saturday four miles west of Broken Bow.

Sara .... , 20, Broken Bow, received massive injuries and was listed today in stable condition at St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.

It was the second head-on fatality in a week on S.H. 3 west of Broken Bow.

Both occurred after one vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with another.

Sara .... was life-flighted from the scene Saturday to Texarkana.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Rocky Green, assisted by trooper Keith Middleton, investigated Saturday's fatality.

Green said Poole was driving west on S.H. 3 in a 1988 Chevrolet pickup truck and went left of center, colliding with an eastbound 2001 Pontiac four-door driven by ....

Drivers of both vehicles were pinned for 25 minutes before being freed by Broken Bow and Holly Creek-Oak Hill Fire Department members, using the Hurst tool.

Poole was pronounced dead on arrival at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel.
