Son of the late Harry S. and Mildred (nee Kammerdeiner) Raber. He served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper and was an iron worker with Kenmore Contracting, he also enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his wife - G. Jean (nee Tatar) Raber whom he married May 7, 1955; children - Robert (Janice) Raber of Springville, Deborah (Paul) Goodrich of Lancaster, David (Carin) Raber of Nevada; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers - Roy and Harry Raber.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
