Sharon (Esch) Ward, 72, of Hightstown, NJ, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019, at The Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, Sharon was a lifelong Hightstown resident, moving to Whiting nine months ago.

She graduated from Hightstown High School, Class of 1965, and went on to work as a customer service and sales associate in the insurance field. She retired a few years ago after over 25 years of service in the industry. Married in December of 1967, to William F. Ward, Sr., Sharon was a young widow with Bill's premature passing in 1986. Ward Jr., Brian P. and Georgette Ward, and Erin E. and Joseph Flowers; her grandchildren, McKenzie, Madison, Sydney, Delaney, Joshua, Hannah and Peter; her siblings, P. Edward Esch, Betty O'Neill, Darlene Fiscus, and her twin, Donald Esch, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Maxwell Ave. at Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hightstown, NJ.
