Ann M. Maxwell of Hobart died on September 2, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Earl E. Maxwell Jr.; and her parents: Isabel May Hogg and Ronald Duncan Hogg. Ann is survived by cousins: Eleanor (Ray) Snemis, Elizabeth (Michael) Garritson, John "Jack" (Stephania) Hogg, Winifred Hogg, and Ronald Scott Hogg, all of Lake and Porter Counties, A 1946 graduate of Horace Mann High School, Gary, Ann.retired after 35 years of service with Gary=Hobart Water Corporation. She was a former member of Sigma Upsilon Alpha Pi and Beta Sigma Phi sororities, served as committee chairman and board member of Lake Area United Way, former member and president of Altrusa International, Inc. of Indiana Dunes and former member and president of PEO Sisterhood, Chapter Y.
