John Ted Armstrong age 87, passed away peacefully on 1 June 2019 at Celeste Memory Care Center in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

Ted was born 12 Jan 1932 in Liverpool, Ohio and was raised in Springdale, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the United States Air Force and proudly served in Alaska. He then moved to California where he worked for 37 years as an aircraft technician for United Airlines. After retirement he moved to Marble Falls.

His hobbies were flying model airplanes and sailing. While in California he loved sailing his boat to Catalina Island and also transporting sailboats as a professional crewman. In his later years he cherished his quiet walks in Meadowlakes.

Ted was a wonderful Christian and member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Marble Falls. He had great pride for his country and was a loving and caring husband, stepfather, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Edmond and Thelma Armstrong, and his sister Ruthanne Gewax. He is survived by his wife Ann, stepchildren Teresa Bryant and son-in-law Ronny Bryant, Ben Beaty and daughter in law Mechele Beaty. Grandchildren Leya and her husband Brian, James, Lauren and Alexander. Great grandchildren Payton, Tyler and Walker, and a nephew Tom.

Service of Witness to the Resurrection was held Saturday 15 June 2019 at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Marble Falls followed by a reception.
