Elizabeth was the wife of John William Jones. They married in the Mississippi Territory (later Madison County, Alabama) on March 5, 1815 and were the parents of at least 11 children.

Elizabeth was born in Grainger County, Tennessee to Lloyd Aday and Margaret Riddle. Her family removed to Madison County, Alabama in about 1809 where her father and two uncles are found on tax lists.

These are the children of John William Jones and Elizabeth Eddy: Ezra, Jackson (not proven), Levi Bauze Aday, Solomon (not proven), Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Thomas Benton, Matilda Armenia/Armenda, William Smith, Martin Van Buren, and George Almontia.

Eliazbeth died about 1870. There is no marker for her but the preponderance of info suggests she is buried at Parks Cemetery in the community of Nola.
