Educated in local schools, Joe enlisted in the Air Force in September of 1951 and served as Staff Sergeant during the Korean War until his honorable discharge in 1955 and continued his service with Air Force Reserves until 1959.
Mr. Raymond began his career as a boilerman with the former Nashua Mills and continued with Sanders Associates, where he worked for 42 years as manager of plant engineering.
Fondly known by his family as "Tarz", he was a talented handyman, who enjoyed woodworking, gardening and could fix anything. He and his wife loved traveling in their RV to New Orleans, Louisiana; and enjoyed Country/Western music.
Family members include (removed for privacy). In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brothers, Antoine Camil Raymond, Raoul W. "Ralph" Raymond and Arthur Raymond; his sister, Gertrude Boulanger; and brother-in-law, Donat Boucher.
