Chis was the oldest of 4 boys born to Johnnie and Evelyn McKay in Marianna, Fl. After High School he attended Chipotle Junior College. He later dropped out and joined the Marines. He served during the Persian Gulf War. After coming home, he was stricken with an incurable disease. He was also divorced from his wife. He later was remarried and moved to Australia for a short while. After returning home. He resided first in Jacksonville and later in Tampa, Fl. He had no children but fell in love with Jack Russel dogs. He was a staunch fan of the Florida Gators so his last Jack Russel was named Gator. He also loved to fish . He was a sweet and kind hearted person but his illness took a toll on him and this put a strain on his personality. He will always be remembered for his sarcasm and his dry humor.
