Paul was the son of the late Arlene (Dell) Sanderson and Paul Jacob Sanderson of West Fairview and brother of late sister Cheri Ann Sanderson.
Paul enjoyed all types of sports including football, baseball, softball, wrestling and ice hockey. Paul retired from Quaker Oats in Shiremanstown, PA after 35 years of dedicated service. He also retired from Dauphin County Prison after 10 years of employment.
Late in his life, Paul enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren watching them play sports and trips to Disney. He also loved his cabin in the mountains in Lycoming County north of Waterville, PA. He enjoyed sitting peacefully on the front porch with his family and friends.
Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rose Marie (Antonucci) Sanderson, daughter Michelle (Sanderson) Holbert and son Michael P. Sanderson and daughter-in-law Joy Sanderson along with his two grandchildren, Zoe Rose Holbert and Paul Jacob Sanderson.
He coached EPYAL Football for 20 years. He was truly a great friend, husband, father and grandfather. He was loved by many.
