"HOLLAND PATENT. On Sunday, Aug. 23, at 3 o'clock p. m., occurred the death of Mrs. Edith Thompson Candee, wife of Charles T. Candee. Mrs. Candee was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick H. Thompson of this place, and was born July 7, 1875. She was a graduate of Holland Patent High School and her early girlhood was spent in and about this locality. In 1900 she was married and moved with her husband to Reading, Pa., in which place she was well known. during recent years Mr. and Mrs. Candee have resided in Massillon, Ohio. A few weeks ago Mrs. Candee came to visit her parents and former home. Her illness was short and sad ending unexpected. Mrs. Candee is survived by her husband and two children, Charles Frederick and Constance Delame.
