There is a 30 year gap in census records found, from 1880 (single) to 1910 (married to Octa 21 years and with 28 year old son, William A. Bridges).
Written in 1925, Rev Bridges's will gave use of home, property, etc to wife Octa Bridges through her life, then to a Rev W A Bridges. (This could be "William A. Bridges", although status as son is not in will.) Remainder of it was to be used for Baptist relief work, Baptist Theological Seminary. Administration was appointed to Wachovia Bank, rather than an individual.
