Sharon Starkey, age 59, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at her home in Duncanville. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Ovilla Church of Christ located at 3420 Ovilla Road in Ovilla, Texas.
Sharon was born on April 7, 1960 to Clyde and Martha Starkey in Dallas, Texas. Sharon loved God with all her heart and was an active member at Ovilla Church of Christ. Her greatest joy in life was being Grami to her eight grandchildren. She loved to watch the Texas Rangers with her grandsons and sew and crochet for and with her granddaughters.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Starkey.
She is survived by her father, Clyde Starkey; children, Jimmy Criswell III and his wife, Cassandra, Heath Criswell and his wife, Anna, and Heidi Stone and her husband, Tim; grandchildren, T.C., Colton, Weston, Kierstin, Jett, Jewell, Nolan and Cian; siblings, Dennis Starkey and his wife, Michele, Bart Starkey and his wife, Jessica, and Sabrina Shelley and her husband, Jimmy; along with numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Flowers may be sent to Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
