Gentris Anita Montgomery, was born on Ground Hogs Day, Thursday, February 2nd, 1956 in
Tuscaloosa, Alabama Home to the University of Alabama and the Crimson Tide. She is the daughter of Carrie V. Hamilton and James William Montgomery, She is the sister of Paul E. Meacham, Rudolph Meacham, William B. Montgomery, Donald J. Montgomery, and Maranda Montgomery. On Saturday morning June 22nd 2019, Gentris Anita Montgomery ascended the stairway to Heaven, from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Gent as she was known growing up and Miss G as she was affectionately known to her students. Miss G enjoyed working with students with special needs as an SPTA-(Special-Education Para-Professional Technical Assistant) with the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada. She attended Narbonne High School in Los Angeles, California, She studied Political Science at UCLA.

During Collage Football Season, Miss G, could be found sporting her Crimson and White, Game Day Swag, cheering on The Alabama Crimson Tide. Singing along to "Sweet Home Alabama", and of course the famous the victory song Rammer Jammer, Yellow at various watch parties.

Miss G was as a known as a Super Fan of the Tide, her "She Shed" was deck out with all kinds of Crimson Tide Memorabilia after all, she had been cheering on The Tide her whole life, having been born in T-Town (Tuscaloosa). Now she will be sitting sharing the VIP Suite above the 50 yard line with Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, and a few others.
