Judy was born April 11, 1941 in Washington, Oklahoma. She was the oldest of two children born to Earl Fredrick Finch and Dorothy Marie (Johnson) Finch. Judy grew up in Washington and attended school there until the end of her freshman year. She then moved to Norman, OK to finish high school, graduating with the class of 1959. Still to this day, Judy stayed in touch and remained close friends with her class mates from Washington.
Judy married on September 2, 1961 and raised three children. She worked hard as a homemaker, wife and mother. Her family first lived in Derby, Kansas for 10 years; then Farmington Hills, Michigan for two years and Seattle, Washington for 12 years. Then in 2000, she moved back to Norman, OK to help take care of her aging parents. While living in Noman, Judy was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir. She enjoyed making new friends and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling, crocheting, cooking and baking. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and classmate friends.
