Mrs. Truelove passed away Friday, June 21, 2019, at Sylacauga Health & Rehabilitation in Sylacauga, Alabama. She was born December 5, 1927, in Ward, Alabama, to Richard Mosley Grimes and Ida Mae Pearson Grimes.
Mrs. Julia was the owner of the Family Fashion Shop in York for over 20 years. She loved to cook and serve everyone’s favorite dish. Survivors include her daughter, Judy T. Jones and Husband Gary; sister Melba Murphy and husband James; and grandchildren, Jenny Griffin Thrasher and husband Phillip and Melanie Griffin Giere and husband Robert; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Grace Thrasher, Phillip Allen “Trey” Thrasher, III, Kayla Noelle Thrasher, Lillian Truelove Giere, and Magnolia Jane Giere.
