Clarence Poe Lewis, 92, of Danville, died June 21, 2019 at SOVAH Health in Danville. He was born in Pittsylvania County, on August 31, 1926, son of Charles Cabel Lewis and Myrtle Simmons Lewis. He lived all of his life in Danville. He retired from the Danville Register & Bee where he worked as a printer. He was a member of Williamson Memorial Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran, serving in the United States Navy during WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Rowland Lewis; two brothers, John David Lewis and Paul Madison Lewis. He was predeceased by five brothers and a sister.
