Franklin Dell Jackson was born on August 16, 1933 in Simpson, Louisiana to Thelmon Lee Jackson and Prudie Idelle Parker Jackson. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Louisiana State University and served his country in the U.S. Air Force rising to the rank of Captain. On May 23, 1958, Frank married Delia Sanchez in La Feria, Texas.
Frank has lived in Katy since 1987. He was a man of deep and abiding faith who lived his Catholic faith in every aspect of his life. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, in Katy, where he was also a member of the Happy Hearts Club. Frank enjoyed playing poker, golfing, and cheering on the Astros.
Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Delia Sanchez Jackson, on February 15, 2011.
He is survived by his children, David & Kathy Jackson of Vancouver, Washington, Terry & Richard Lehmann of Fort Worth, and Denise & John Hunnell of Fairfax Station, Virginia; his grandchildren, Wesley & Misty Hunnell, Anderson Hunnell, Marie & Nick Sheehan, John Anthony Hunnell, and Erich & Meghan Lehmann; great grandchildren, Trinity Hunnell, John David Hunnell, Felicity Hunnell, James Hunnell, Hunter Lehmann, Jacob Lehmann, and Simon Sheehan.
