Evelyn Louise Fisher, age 95, of Science Hill, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Somerwoods Nursing and Rehab.

Evelyn was born on July 30, 1923 in Pulaski County to the late Herbert Taylor and Oma Fugate Taylor. She was a member of Southern Heights Christian Church. Evelyn enjoyed sewing and quilting.



She is survived by three sons, James (and Faye) Fisher of Science Hill, David (and Tammy) Fisher of Somerset and John (and Cathy) Fisher of Somerset; two daughters, Brenda Colyer (and Denny Eller) of Science Hill and Susie (and Ken) Dagley of Pigeon Forge, TN; one daughter-in-law, Vickie Fisher of Somerset; sixteen grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.



Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Fisher, whom she married on April 19, 1941 in Mississippi and he preceded her June 17, 1977; two brothers, Lester Taylor and Charles Taylor; one sister, Rosemary Whitis; and three sons, Gary Fisher, Donnie Fisher and Bobby Fisher.



Visitation will be on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.



Her funeral service will follow on Monday, at 3:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Joel Patton and Bro. David Paddick officiating. Burial will be at Union Church of Christ Cemetery in Science Hill. Evelyn's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
