Robert Colmand Blosser III, born February 14, 1934 to Robert Colmand Blosser II and Mary Opal Wilson in Montgomery, WV passed away April 8, 2016.

He was preceded in death by son, Daniel, daughter Mary Beth, brother James, and sister Judith, and his parents.

He is survived by Martha Sue Hamersly Blosser, his wife of 28 years, his children Rob and Debbie Blosser, Lori and Steve Ratliff, Joanna and Greg Baird, Vince and Dana Osborn, Rick Osborn, and Luke and Mary Beth Osborn, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and another on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bud was a commercial airline pilot - a captain with Eastern Airlines for 22 years, which he said many times "was the best job in the world."

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Farmville United Methodist Church, PO Box 64, Farmville, VA 23901 or Fuqua School, PO Drawer 328, Farmville, VA 23901.

Visitation will be held on Saturday April 9th from 6 - 8 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville, VA.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday April 10th at 2:00 p.m. at the Farmville United Methodist Church with a reception to follow in the church social hall.

There will be a private internment at a later date.
