Funeral Service for Marshall E. Jones age 85 of Sharon, TN, will be held Monday June 24th at 2pm at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sharon, TN. Visitation will begin Tuesday morning at 12 noon and go until time of service at 2pm.

Marshall was a great "Fixer Upper" no problem was impossible. He loved any kind of challenge. He was a jet mechanic in the Air Force for 20 years, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and great-grandfather. Marshall was survived by wife of 41 years Mary S. Jones, children; Terry Gaertner of West Valley City, UT, Wilma Alumbaugh (Mike) Mulvane, KS, Susan Freshour (Bud) Wichita, KS, Diane Strausburg (Jeff) Nipoma, CA, Janet Nelson (David) Rives, TN, and Lin Jones Sharon, TN. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, sibling; Morris Jones (Marie) Florence, AL, Mary Lee Dzuck Saginaw, TX, Leon Jones (Diane) Wales, Billy Alta (Sue) Loma, CA, Shirley Bynum (Terry) Sharon, TN, Barbara Warren (Billy) Austin, TX, and David Jones (Megan) Jackson, TN.

Marshall was preceded in death by his parents James Neal Jones and Maggie French Jones, brothers Eugene and James Edward Jones, and sister Sarah Jones Henderson.
