Michael John Paul, 50, passed away Thursday. June 20, 2019 at his home in Emporia. He was born July 1, 1968 in Lincoln, Kansas the son of John J. Paul Sr. and Patricia Hinson Paul. Michael had been working as a mail sorter and handler at the Emporia Post Office and was a member of the American Postal Workers Union Local #735. He will live on in the hearts of his mother, Patty Paul and her significant other Lauren Weeks of Council Grove; a daughter, Macy Paul; a son, Brennan Paul; a sister, Lisa Paul; three brothers, John J. Paul, Jr. (Leslie Mosher), Matthew C. Paul and James P. Paul (Alisia Brewington) and a grandson, Henry Christopher Wasson. Michael was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the United Church of Eskridge. Inurnment will be in the Chalk Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eskridge Library and sent in care of the VanArsdale Funeral Home at Box 338, Eskridge, Kansas 66423.
